Willow Review

Willow Review
The film Willow is about a small community of dwarfs living in a fantasy, medieval world. The whole story is about getting a small human baby to a safe place, where she can grow up and defeat the witch. This film involves magic and monsters, and quite a few funny parts.

My favourite part of the film was when they had to fight lots of trolls and a massive two headed dragon, at the same time as they fought an army trying to steel the baby away. I like this part because it is action pact with lots of different things going on. The dragon in this scene looks good for the time this was released, which was 1988. The trolls were not CGI but actors in costumes, but when crawling up the walls they were.

This film's story is complicated and entertaining as it shows an adventure across the country. It also involves many mystical creatures such as brownies, dragons, fairies, trolls and a lot more.

The costumes in this film are quite complex and seem to have had a lot of time spent on them. Even the extras in the background have a lot of detail on them.

Overall this film is a really good choice, with loads of action so you wont get bored watching. I would recommend this film to anyone above the age of eight, so it is not a film for the whole family because it has quite a bit of violence throughout the whole film. If i could rate this out of five, i would give it a 4.5 as most of the film is really entertaining to watch with family and friends.
